KCF&G Scholarships

Knox County Fish and Game awards two scholarships annually. One is to a graduating high school student and the other to an area teen for a week at Bryant Pond Conservation Camp. Preference is given to members' families.

The Memorial Shotgun Shoot at the range sponsors the Bryany Pond scholarship. Bryant Pond–actually the University of Maine 4H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond–offers teens the opportunity to interact with other teens from across the state while learning new skills and to appreciate the natural world around them. Applicants are required to submit a brief essay telling us why they would like to attend the program, and the directors will make the award based on the essay. It should be mailed to Knox County Fish & Game, P.O. Box 414, Union, ME 04832-0414 before May first.

Knox County Fish &Game offers College Scholarships to graduating seniors or current college students in the amount of $500.00.  Our scholarship is awarded to a student who plans continuing education in the fields of ecology and conservation. Primarily intended for member's families, it is open to all graduates. An application should be available at your guidance office, but you can click here to download one, or contact us at KCF&G, P.O. Box 414, Union, ME 04862, and we will make sure you get a copy.
